2027 FOUNDATION ENROLMENTS

 

Register today for one of our Term 1 Open Days and School Alive Tours held during February and March 2026 for Foundation 2027.

 

We are happiest when prospective families pay us a visit to see for themselves what makes St. Francis Xavier Primary School unique. Come chat to our staff and students as they show you around our school. We can show you why we are a school of choice for many of our happy families and children.

APPLICATION PROCESS FOR FOUNDATION 2027

Enrolments are now Open

Thank you for your interest in enrolling at our school.  To ensure that every family has the appropriate opportunity to enrol their child, all Ballarat Catholic Primary Schools collaborate throughout the process of Foundation (Prep) Enrolment. Information collected through the enrolment process is collated on a centralised database through Diocese of Ballarat Education Limited (DOBCEL), which is shared by the Catholic Primary Schools in Ballarat.

The application process for 2027 Foundation (Prep) Enrolments:

  1. Register for a school tour – new families only, current families welcome  (see details above)
  2. Register your interest in enrolling your child at a Catholic school in the City of Ballarat by completing an online “City of Ballarat Expression of Interest for Enrolment” form found here  

          At this stage, you will be able to nominate St Francis Xavier Primary School as your first preference.

Important:

  • You will be asked to indicate your first, second and third preference
  • You will be required to upload your child’s Birth Certificate and Baptism Certificate (if applicable).
  • You will able to indicate if currently you have children already attending the school that you are applying for as your first preference
  • If you are unable to access the online form, contact Danielle at enrollments@dobcel.catholic.edu.au  Your query will be attended to as soon as possible
  • Each Catholic Primary School will make offers of enrolment in line with the Diocese of Ballarat Enrolment Policy which takes into consideration a variety of factors
  • Completing this expression of interest process does not guarantee an offer of enrolment in a City of Ballarat Catholic Primary School

ENROLMENT AT OTHER YEAR LEVELS (Year 1 to Year 6)

Please complete the General Enquiry Form – see below  or contact the school office on 5331 6311 for any enrolment inquiries for year levels other than Foundation.

Please also download, complete and submit to our school both your SFX Enrolment Form and SFX Supplementary Application Enrolment Form.
